An underappreciated lean protein. Great to make pasta or lasagna. Ground chicken is a great substitute for ground beef due to its lower fat and calorie content. Ground chicken is made from both dark and white meat and may sometimes contain a bit of the skin. Ground chicken has a light pink colour when it’s raw, but turns white when its cooked. It will take on the colour of the seasoning you cook it with.
Our chicken is raised free-run, anti-biotic free, grain-fed, 100% air chilled (so no shrinkage!) and hand trimmed for perfection.
