The GCBB: ‘GREAT CANADIAN BISON BURGER’
BBQ Smoked Bison Burger with your choice of toppings. This Juicy Bison Burger renders all the amazing flavors when smoked with a pellet grill (Traeger) which I used or regular charcoal grill. Hey, even a gas grill does the job.
Serves: 4 people
Prep & Cook time: 1.5hrs
- 450 grams Papa Earth Ground Bison
- 1 cups of chopped spinach
- ¼ cup of bread crumbs
- 2 grated garlic cloves
- ¼ cup of feta
- 1 egg
- 1 table spoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 table spoon of paprika
- Dash of salt & pepper
Candied Bacon (Topping)
6 slices of bacon tossed into a bowl with brown sugar & maple syrup. Simply mixed together laid out on parchment paper & cooked in the oven till ready.
Combine all ingredient in a bowl until a smooth formation, make four round balls place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper & flatten down balls. Use a spoon to make a small pocket in the middle of the patty (this will prevent it from puffing up during the cook).
Preheat your grill to 350 degrees F & Smoke/Cook the Burger approx. 15 min per side or an internal temp of 165 degrees.
Pellet or wood flavor of choice. Now sit back & enjoy this Juice-alicous Burger
